Nets guard Wayne Ellington backs President Obama's gun-control efforts

Wayne Ellington knows about gun violence and loss, and that is why he has publicly endorsed President Obama’s gun-control efforts. Ellington’s father, Wayne Ellington Sr., was shot in the head while sitting in his red Oldsmobile on a Philadelphia street in November 2014, according to police. The ballplayer’s father was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead several hours later. He was 57 years old when he died.
