Tim Federowicz signs minor league deal with Chicago Cubs

Tim Federowicz signed a minor league deal with the Chicago Cubs on Friday, Baseball America's Matt Eddy reports. He has a .194 average and five home runs in 271 MLB plate appearances, and will offer organizational catcher depth for the Cubs in 2016. (CBS Sports)
