For Tar Heels, playing 'flat' has been the change they needed

After a 2-3 stretch during the regular season that saw UNC consistently exploited by ball screens, the Tar Heels changed their defense. The adjustment helped spark UNC’s late-season defensive surge and is one reason the Tar Heels (28-6) own a No. 1 seed and are Final Four favorites heading into tonight’s first-round game against Florida Gulf Coast.
