UNC basketball team shows support for grieving Roanoke family

The UNC Tar Heels are extending a sympathetic hand to a Roanoke family of longtime fans. Known to everyone around them, the McKinnon family are die hard UNC fans and are often known to sport the trademark Carolina blue around the streets of Roanoke, according to a family friend. Lindsay McKinnon remembers watching games with her grandfather, a longtime professor at UNC.
