Quick hands spark Heels' second-half surge

Its shooting was off. Its rhythm, ragged. So to win its 12th straight game -- 79-69 against scrappy Virginia on Wednesday night at the Smith Center -- No. 1 North Carolina stole it. Again. And again. And again. With the score 49-49 with about 15 minutes left in the game, the Tar Heels men's basketball team forced six turnovers during a 14-3 run that broke the game open and assured Virginia's second straight loss.
