A decade later, John Bunting finds peace in his post-football life

Outside the 3,600-square-foot house John Bunting and his wife had built after he lost the only coaching job he ever really wanted, a breeze rustles the boats in the marina. Inside, Bunting is walking up the stairs, past framed pictures of a lifetime in football – there he is at UNC, and with the Philadelphia Eagles; there’s when he snapped his arm landing on Calvin Hill: his philosophy on life.
