UNC gets jump on class of 2008
Posted Jan 2, 2007
North Carolina has basically skipped the 2007 basketball recruiting class, but the Tar Heels are off to a great start for 2008. Tyreke Evans has been offered a scholarship by Carolina and has been quoted as saying, “That is a dream come true. Carolina is the No. 1 school I want to go to.” Evans, a high-scoring 6-foot-5 guard from Aston (Pa.) American Christian School, is the No. 3 junior in the nation as ranked by prepstars.com.
