Tar Heels' Lawson starting to catch up
Posted Dec 29, 2006
Ty Lawson's game has officially caught up to his feet. Admittedly slow to catch on to North Carolina's offense early in the season, the feisty point guard raced to his best decision-making game during the Tar Heels' 87-48 victory over Rutgers at the Smith Center. The freshman's nine assists were a career high and marked the fourth consecutive game he has posted at least eight. Perhaps more key: He had zero turnovers for the third time this season.
