Malik Newman to Transfer from Mississippi State

will transfer from Mississippi State, according to a report from Jon Rothstein of CBSSports.com. Assuming Newman transfers and sits out the 2016-17 season, he wouldn't play Division 1 ball again until the 2017-18 campaign and would then be eligible for the 2018 NBA Draft. Newman initially chose Mississippi State over Kansas and Kentucky. (Zag's Blog)
