Tar Heels Help U.S. To Field Hockey Bronze Medal

The U.S. Women’s National Field Hockey Team, with six Tar Heels on the roster, earned a bronze medal Sunday at the Champions Trophy in London. The U.S. beat No. 3 Australia in a shootout to place third in a competitive field. Former UNC players on the team are Jackie (Kintzer) Briggs, Rachel Dawson, Katelyn Falgowski, Kelsey Kolojejchick, Caitlin Van Sickle and Emily Wold. (GoHeels.com)
