The final period of the summer for college basketball coaches to evaluate high school recruits ended Sunday, and UK Coach John Calipari spent much of the week in Las Vegas checking out a few of his top targets. With three July evaluation periods completed, the recruiting calendar now turns to the season of on-campus visits, narrowing school lists and, possibly, more scholarship offers to be doled out by the Wildcats.
