Carolina RailHawks first player signings include Tar Heel soccer stars Carrieri and Norkus


The Carolina RailHawks introduced former UNC soccer stars Chris Carrieri and Caleb Norkus as the team’s inaugural signings on Tuesday. Carrieri joins the RailHawks from the USL Second Division’s Richmond Kickers where he led the Second Division in assists. Norkus, a former U.S. under-20 national team member, comes to Cary from the Puerto Rico Islanders. The former Sanderson High School star earned the North Carolina High School Payer of the Year honors before taking his game to Chapel Hill. (Carolina News Wire)
