Indians beat Red Sox in Game 1 as Andrew Miller gets ‘save’

With his Indians protecting a one-run lead with two outs in the fifth inning of Game 1 of the American League Division Series against the Red Sox, Terry Francona called on his best reliever, Andrew Miller. Miller pitched two scoreless innings to settle down the game as the Indians earned a 5-4 victory. “Miserable,” Jason Kipnis said of what it’s like facing Miller.
