Freshman Mauricio Pineda scored three goals to lead the eighth-ranked North Carolina men’s soccer team to its most goals in seven years on Tuesday night during a 7-0 victory over UNC Asheville from Fetzer Field. Pineda was the lone multi-goal scorer on the evening as the freshman from Bolingbrook, Illinois, registered his first collegiate hat trick.
