Heels alumni speak on Davis
Posted Nov 20, 2006
Oakland Raiders receiver Ronald Curry and Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Ryan Sims have mixed feelings about Butch Davis taking over as coach at their alma mater. They will be sad to see North Carolina coach John Bunting depart. He helped them get to the NFL. "I think John Bunting is a good man and a good coach, first of all," said Curry. "I don't know too much about Butch. I know he did a heckuva job at Miami. Hopefully he can do the same thing at Carolina."
