Heels Rout Bulldogs, 103-50
Posted Nov 20, 2006
Use Sunday’s game with Gardner-Webb as a measuring stick if you like. For the second straight season North Carolina opened its home slate versus the Bulldogs of the Atlantic Sun Conference, but this year the Tar Heels didn’t need a buzzer-beater to stave off an upset. This one instead was over by halftime as UNC won going away, 103-50.
