Heels give Bunting 23-9 win
Posted Nov 19, 2006
John Bunting, who kept his distance from ChuckAmato during the pre-game, was the first to speak. "Good game, coach," he said as he reached for Amato's hand. "Good luck to you," Amato replied. "I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Good luck." With that, the Bunting-Amato rivalry ended. Bunting, who was fired in October, will never coach another game at Kenan Stadium.
