When No. 2 North Carolina plays No. 1 South Carolina in an NCAA tournament quarterfinal Friday, Abby Elinsky likely will be in the starting lineup as a forward for the most successful program in the history of the sport. It is one a moment she has lived for, so much of 20 years invested in reaching it. And until Oct. 2, that made all the sense in the world to her.
