Stanford Advances Past UNC Into NCAA Men's Soccer Final On PKs

Stanford advanced past North Carolina on penalty kicks, 10-9, in a classic NCAA Tournament semifinal match at BBVA Compass Stadium on Friday night. Stanford made all 10 of its penalty kick attempts and advanced when the attempt by UNC's Alex Comsia sailed high over the goal. The Cardinal advances to face Wake Forest on Sunday for the NCAA title.
