Joel Berry's absence looms large, but it's not the only cause for Tar Heels' struggles

Out for a second game with a sprained left ankle, the best Joel Berry could do was urge his teammates to come out with the fire they lacked in recent outings. He told them to play this game like it was their last. “He just wanted us to play hard and play with intensity,” senior guard Nate Britt said. “I know it’s tough for him not to be out there.”
