Monmouth coach King Rice should be extremely familiar to North Carolina fans. The former Tar Heels point guard ranks sixth in program history in career assists with 629, more than Ty Lawson, Marcus Paige, Kendall Marshall and Jeff Lebo. He was a captain on the 1991 ACC title squad, which lost to a Roy Williams-coached Kansas team in the Final Four.
