Posted Jan 21, 2017
After racing to 26 first-half points, Zion Williamson opened the second half with two layups, a dunk off a well-executed drop step, an alley-oop and a monster two-handed slam to hit the 2,000 mark. Play was stopped for a photo-op with the phenom. Williamson ultimately finished with 48 points in the 78-39 win over visiting Oakbrook Prep. “It means a lot to me,” Williamson said of the milestone.
