Report: UNC-Notre Dame basketball game will not be played as scheduled

Notre Dame was supposed to travel Friday afternoon to Chapel Hill, N.C., for Saturday’s ACC game with UNC. But a water main break in Chapel Hill on Friday forced mayor Pam Hemminger to declare a state of emergency. There will be no basketball game Saturday in Chapel Hill with no word yet early Friday evening when or if the game can be rescheduled.
