2017 center Jacob Epperson verbally committed to Creighton on Thursday, he told Scout. "I just thought it was the best fit for me," Epperson said. "I went there for an official visit two or three weeks ago and I loved it. I loved what they had to offer." Epperson said he's paid close attention to how the Bluejays utilized redshirt freshman Justin Patton and that factored heavily into his decision making.
