Redemption has been rare in college basketball

Wait 'til next year? North Carolina actually did. One year after a heartbreaking, last-second loss in the NCAA Championship game, UNC booked another ticket to the final, a ticket on a very unique train. The 2016-17 Tar Heels are just the eighth team to lose in the final then make it all the way back to the title game the next year. Redemption is rare in college basketball.
