Perhaps the best linebacker in the country just committed to the North Carolina Tar Heels. Hillsborough (NC) Orange Top247 recruit Payton Wilson announced for UNC on Monday, choosing the hometown favorite over Clemson, Ohio State and Virginia Tech among others. 247Sports ranks the 6-foot-4, 225-pound Mitchell as the nation’s No. 2 outside linebacker and No. 37 recruit overall.
