No. 3 North Carolina was upended 1-0 at UNCW on Friday at UNCW Soccer Stadium. UNCW (3-0) scored the only goal of the match in the 27th minute. David Lozano delivered a corner that Hjalmar Ekdal put a head on for his second goal of the young season. UNC (2-1) had its six-match unbeaten streak snapped that began in the NCAA postseason run of 2016.
