Morehead pitcher Bennett Nance signs with UNC Baseball

Morehead pitcher Bennett Nance was joined by his family, administration, coaches and friends on signing day when he inked a baseball scholarship to play at UNC last Wednesday. The left hander had an ERA of 0.32, threw 102 strikes, and was 7-1 as a starter last year. His only loss of the season was to eventual NCHSAA state champion Northern Guilford on April 26.
