U.S. Army Player of the Year nominees from the state of North Carolina include Heritage running back Ricky Person, who has committed to N.C. State; Scotland County running back Zamir White, a Georgia commit; Orange linebacker Payton Wilson, a UNC commit; and Shelby linebacker Dax Hollifield, who holds offers from South Carolina, Stanford, UNC and Virginia Tech.
