Roy Williams No Longer Coaching Through Fear

Luke Maye was nervous walking into Wednesday’s practice given what had transpired in Blacksburg on Monday. He’s heard the stories from Sean May and other Tar Heels about the potential of a Roy Williams rampage, running players until the soles of their shoes begin to smoke. “In the old days, I would have run them until seven guys threw up,” Williams said Thursday.
