Tar Heels Move Up to No. 9 in AP Men’s Basketball Poll

Riding a season-high six game win streak, North Carolina moved up one spot to No. 9 in the newest AP Men’s Basketball Poll released on Monday. The last time the Tar Heels put together such a streak was last year’s NCAA Tournament, when six straight wins earned them a national championship. As of now, however, Virginia remains the No. 1 ranked team.
