Tim Federowicz Earns Freshman All-America Accolades

Fresh off earning all-tournament honors at the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional, North Carolina catcher Tim Federowicz was named to Collegiate Baseball newspaper's Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America Team Thursday. The Apex, N.C., product is batting .323 with nine home runs and 52 RBI in 59 games this season.
