Charlie Heck Taking Confident Step into Leadership Role

Charlie Heck is your stereotypical offensive tackle. He favors coach-speak, but is smart, friendly, and massive. Heck has grown from the 6-7, 250-pound tight end that arrived in Chapel Hill to a 6-8, 300-pound-plus behemoth. Heck wasn't a big-time recruit, but with starting experience under his belt, the junior is now tasked with helping lead UNC's young offensive line.
