Tar Heels Win Extra Inning Thriller Over Georgia Tech To Clinch Series

No. 8 UNC won an extra inning thriller over Georgia Tech on Saturday to clinch the series with a 9-8 victory in 10 innings at Boshamer Stadium (Highlights). Jackson Hesterlee tied the game with a grand slam in the bottom of the eighth while Ben Casparius tied the game with a triple in the bottom of the 10th before the winning run was driven in on a sacrifice fly by Dallas Tessar.
