Walking, singing through Chapel Hill in memory of 'Mama Dip'

Mildred Council, better known as "Mama Dip," gained a national reputation for her Southern cooking from a homey kitchen on West Rosemary Street. She passed away last week at the age of 89, and a funeral service is scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m. at Chapel Hill Bible Church. On Saturday, they were singing and walking through the college town where she made her name.
