Alex Nobles will take his work ethic to UNC’s football program next fall. On Tuesday in the media room of Nash Central High School, the senior sat down for signatures and pictures to make his preferred walk-on status official for Tar Heel football. Nobles, at 6-foot-3, played his senior season as a middle linebacker but expects to bulk up and line up as a defensive end. (Rocky Mount Telegram)
