Former Heel Waddell hurt in freak accident

Titans cornerback is expected to be sidelined four to six months after rupturing his right patella tendon during what he called a freak accident at home. Waddell, who was a key special- teams player last season, is rehabbing from surgery and is likely to miss the start of the regular season. He said the injury occurred while he was playing with his 2-year-old son. (Nashville Tennessean)
