Freshman catcher Tim Federowicz doubled to lead off the bottom of 14th inning and scored on a throwing error by NC State closer Sam Walls to give No. 1 North Carolina a 3-2 victory and its first series win over the No. 7 Wolfpack since 2002 Sunday at Boshamer Stadium.
