The Pelicans could be adding a point guard. New Orleans worked out Ty Lawson this week. The 30-year-old Lawson spent much of 2017-18 playing in the Chinese Basketball Association. But he signed a contract with the Wizards in mid-April and averaged 5.8 points in five playoff appearances. Lawson has averaged 12.7 points and six assists in 551 career NBA games.
