Aggressive Play Calls Not Enough in UNC's Loss to Syracuse

Three times in the first half UNC went for it on 4th-and-1, converting the first two attempts and coming up short at Syracuse’s 22-yard line on the third. Trailing 20-14 in the third quarter, the Tar Heels ran another trick play resulting in an interception. It’s easy to question such play calls, especially when they fail, but the attacking style gives the players opportunities to win games. (Inside Carolina)
