UNC-Virginia: Matchups to Watch

Virginia is undefeated at home this season and has held opponents to 18.4 points per game, good for third in the ACC. Coach Bronco Mendenhall relies on the running game to complement his defense. Virginia ranks eighth in the ACC in yards per play (5.8) and sixth in yards per play allowed (5.3). The Cavaliers’ formula has been to keep opponents out of the red zone.
