Mitch Trubisky in ‘a good mental space’ as he readies for the Chicago Bears QB competition

When the Chicago Bears traded for Nick Foles, declared the starting quarterback job an “open competition,” and declined Mitch Trubisky’s fifth-year option for 2021, Trubisky felt more anger than surprise. He said, that is driving him to prove the Bears are still his team. "I’ve been motivated since our season ended last year. But I’m excited for this year."
