UNC alum, NASA astronaut Zena Cardman to be speaker for spring 2024 commencement

NASA astronaut Zena Cardman will be the keynote speaker at the University of North Carolina’s spring 2024 Commencement, the University announced Thursday morning. Cardman earned a Bachelor of Science in biology and Master of Science in marine sciences from UNC in 2010 and 2014, respectively. She was elected as a NASA astronaut in 2017.
