Brie Felnagle Finalist For Honda Sports Award


Senior distance runner was one of four finalists for the 2008 Honda Sports Award for cross country. Texas Tech's Sally Kipyego was a repeat winner of the award after claiming the award in 2006, 2007 and 2008 when she captured the individual cross country titles. In addition to the honor of this nomination for Felnagle, American Honda Motor Co., Inc. will donate $1,000 to the women's athletic fund of each nominee's university. (Tar Heel Blue)
