Tavaris Barnes commits to Florida State

Scout.com is reporting that defensive end Tavaris Barnes out of Jacksonville (FL) has committed to Florida State. Barnes is rated a 3-star prospect by Scout.com but has yet to be rated by Rivals.com and ESPN. Barnes held at least 10 scholarship offers and was considering North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Maryland, and South Florida among others.
