Duke's basketball camp drawing unfair criticism
Posted Aug 17, 2009
It's a quiet period in the world of college basketball recruiting. Which by NCAA rules means programs are only allowed to have contact with prospects on campus. And at Duke these days, that quiet period also means you won't be hearing a lot of specifics about next weekend's High-Performance Basketball Camp. Here's what we know: On Saturday, somewhere between 20 and 30 high school players - most of them potential Duke recruits - will saunter into Durham, get a warm welcome from coach Mike Krzyzewski then spend the next 24 hours getting a sampling of what Blue Devils basketball is all about.
