Posted Apr 9, 2010
Austin Rivers confirmed to Scout.com that he has withdrawn his commitment to Florida. The Winter Park High School star and son of Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers, committed to the Gators his sophomore year in high school. The 6-foot-3 Rivers will be a senior in the fall and now says he's considering other schools -- with speculation that he's now leaning towards signing with Duke during the early period in November, instead. He said North Carolina is also in the running for his commitment.
