Adonis Thomas shines in AAU play

Not that Adonis Thomas needed any more attention, but the Melrose senior emphatically stated his case as one of the top players in the class of 2011 during a superb week at the adidas Super 64 tournament. Coming off a gold medal performance with the U.S. under-17 team at the FIBA World Championships, the 6-5 Thomas looked as confident and aggressive as ever leading the Memphis Magic Elite squad into today's semifinals, trying for a repeat of the Super 64 championship he won last year.
