Andre Drummond at center of attention
Posted Jun 16, 2011
Andre Drummond knows all about pressure. It’s what all the top schools must feel when they’re recruiting him. Drummond, a 6-10, 260-pound center from St. Thomas More, is considered the No. 1 player in the 2012 class by ESPN.com and the No. 3 player by Rivals.com. He led St. Thomas More (Oakdale, Conn.) to a 30-7 record and the national prep championship last season while averaging 15 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks. He said he has offers from Connecticut, Duke, Georgetown, Louisville, North Carolina and Pittsburgh.
