2012 center Robert Carter to name top-5 soon

There was speculation several weeks ago on the Internet that Thomasville, Ga., big man Robert Carter was close to making a commitment to Kentucky. But the 6-9, 250-pound Carter set the record straight. “I don’t know where that came from,” he said with a smile. “A lot of people were saying that but I am still open. (Kentucky) is showing a lot of interest but there are a lot of schools still coming after me right now.” Carter said he would narrow his list to five schools in the next few weeks and he’s talking to nearly every school in the ACC and SEC.
